Jwana Hamdan at W Sardinia in Poltu Quatu
Poltu Quatu, the hidden gem of Sardinia
Nestled on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia Poltu Quatu, meaning “hidden port” in the local language, is a village overlooking the La Maddalena archipelago. With its natural fjord-like setting and vibrant marina, it has long been a destination of charm and allure.
Opened in August 2025, W Sardinia in Poltu Quatu brings Marriott’s W Hotels brand to this iconic location. Designed by New York studio Meyer Davis, with architecture by Milan-based De.Tales, the resort offers 154 rooms and suites, a dynamic culinary scene, and lifestyle spaces where contemporary energy meets Mediterranean elegance.
Maitha Lounge Chairs on the Wet Deck
For the Wet Deck, the hotel’s poolside social hub, Meyer Davis selected the Maitha outdoor armchairs, designed by Lorenza Bozzoli for Jwana Hamdan. Customized in a client fabric by Rubelli, Maitha embodies a vibrant and eclectic spirit, with bold lines and a touch of nautical charm. Like the Mediterranean itself, it carries echoes of different shores: an interplay of colors, textures and traditions, reimagined in a contemporary key, where every detail feels both timeless and new.
